TWINKLING LIGHTS

     The breeze... the streets are like Paris, twinkling with colorful lights. Bells started to ring for the midnight masses. Children singing with rhymes, there are sharing. Everyone is busy buying stuff for their tables.
     Counting on the calendar nine days left before Christmas. Everyone is excited with their Christmas bonus. Children and even adults started their house to house caroling. Each homes are now putting their own christmas lights. Santa claus lane with his raindeers. People tend that Christmas is just a holiday. But what is Christmas all about? Why we celebrate it?
     They say Christmas is a time of joy. Spreading love to the world, giving gift, happiness. But the church celebrates it because our savior come into existence and save the world for all the sins done before him. It is the birth of our Lord Jesus, that without him we are nothing. That's the spirit of Christmas. Remembering that we have our savior, whatever problems we may encounter, we have him, always. That's why Christmas give a definition of joy, happiness, love, faith and peace.  Because this is what God given us when He gave His only son to the world.
     It is not yet over, we still have time to forget all those pain others given to us. Let's make Christmas the way it should be. Love.  Peace.  Happiness.

GENDER EQUALITY

     It's been history that woman are treated inferior to man slaves in their own home. Prisoners in the society. A prize is gamble. Traded and engaged to someone whom they didn't love. But that was before.
     Turning on the radio, I got fascinated with one of Beyonce's   hit "Who run the world girls." As the 21st century commences woman are treated equal to men. In classrooms women usually better students. In governance they are champions. In economic management they control it. And in decisions they rule and hold sway. Forbes #1 most powerful women is Angela Merkel, a German who speaks during the news conference at the Chancellor in Berlin, Germany. Hilary Clinton ranked second whom she visited the Phil recently. We also have are very own Miriam Defensor Santiago elected judge of the International Criminal Court that makes Phil lawyers comes into picture. Woman excel not only in Politics, they are also CEO's, bankers cultural icons, billionaire and entrepreneurs. Woman now have the full right as men. they can choose if they wanted to be single or married, to bear a child or not. To be housewife or inclined with her own choose field and lot more. This gender equality clashed the religious teaching's in most of the countries. But this issue clears the fact that women   are not just a slave, a second rate, or even a prisoner at home.
     What men does , women can. God created us equal to his eyes. No division for men and women. But this gender  equality does not mean that we can go beyond the boarder. There are rules, norms in the society that should still follow by man. Like the Public Comfort rooms, this must be separated to each other. But other than those norms, in fairness to the world, men and women should be treated equally no discrimination. A women with a heart and men as strong as a lion, this combination can make a the world a better place to line.

"OPEN YOUR EYES"

     We all know that now a days Climate easily changes. For example today is sunny day tomorrow is windy, cloudy or rainy day. We never know.
     Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over period ranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions or the distribution of events around that average
     The effect of Climate Change is Typhoon that causes lands slide or flood. As Girls Scouts Says, "BE PREPARED". We should always prepare our selves so that we can easily respond to calamities. But what are we doing? we are making our life miserable and in danger. Because of burning plastics, people worldwide began burning more coal and oil for homes, factories, and transportation. Burning these fossil fuels releases carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases to the athmosphere. These added greenhouses gases have caused Earth to warm more quickly than it has in the past. Now ozone layer has a hole. If we just know how to change thee trees that we cut, now a days we are not experiencing flood or landslide. If we could only know the causes of burning trees. Trees are important to us, they give oxygen, give us shade, food and many more. we need trees and they need us so that they could live longer. If we just know how to throw our garbage or waste .
     See we have to do something so that we will be safe all the time. We need to do something to save our nature. So that the hole of the Ozone layer will not increase or getting bigger. We need to stop abusing our nature, because they are the one who can save us. 

Chemergy: Chemistry and Science Club in Synergy

    Science club promotes chemistry to be stronger and to be successful.

   Chemistry deals with the composition, structure and properties of substances, and changes that occur in substances.  Chemistry comes from the Greek word "chemia" which means art of metal work.  Synergy is the combination or promoting of science club for a better and interesting subject, chemistry.  I think the main purpose of this theme is to make the students more curious about chemistry.  Chemistry can reach our goals.  It is very important that chemistry must be learned, because if there's no chemistry we can never make formulas and out of that formulas are the finishing products.

   Lets promote chemistry.... To be successful.. As Marie Curie says: In science we must be interested in things, not in persons.

"REFLECTION"

          In every grading we take in T.L.E., I'm always excited every single day. In my second grading I have a lot of experienced and learned.
          I learned about tags, different tags. Tags are very interesting but sometimes when you miss a symbol, even if it is only one symbol it will all affect the sentence you wish to italize, etc. I can see that everyone enjoy doing this staff, as well as me. I learned how to work alone and with companions. One of the most interesting activity we work on is about the font attributes, because you don't need to high light the text and color it with green, etc. Simply put on appropriate tags in that word and there you go, you have different styles, colors in your activity. In this grading I learn how to be responsible in doing my activities.
          Second grading will end soon, but I am sure that I will never forget this. I love doing it, I enjoy doing and I can say I'm comfortable with this. I hope and expecting more fun activities in the next grading.

"PROMOTING DIGITAL LITERACY THROUGH ENGLISH PROFICIENCY"

          Digital literacy is the ability to locate, organize, understand, evaluate, and analyze information using digital technology.
          Nowadays, the new generation are very fun of playing and surfing the internet and modern technologies.  Research around digital literacy is concerned with the wider aspects associated with learning how to effectively find, use, summarize, evaluate, create, and communicate information while using digital technologies, not just being literate at using a computer.  Technologies help us to communicate faster in other countries.  Literacy is social network services and websites help people stay in contact with others, pass timely information and even sell goods and services.  It also prevents from believing hoaxes that are spread online or are the result of photo manipulate.
          Let us promote digital literacy, so that everyone will be an English Proficient.  In promoting digital literacy is a great work in helping us in learning.

THE UNSUNG HEROES AND PRECIOUS TREASURE

Teachers are trying to teach us everything we have to know. They give their best without expecting any rewards in return. Teachers always give their time to talk to us, to give us advise and guide us in our way. They look after us when we are in school. They are our second parents.
First time I saw him my bones are trembling. It because of his face impression. The way he walk, the way he talks, the way he moves, I can really say I'm "Scared". After 2 years of knowing him, the face impressions he make is for the best of the students. To discipline themselves. He is a strict man and a dream that his students will be successful in the future. He knows how to socialize with teenagers like us and as well as the teachers not only here in our school but also in other schools. He knows how to make us laugh. He makes his class so interesting, but when it is time to be serious, be serious. Because as he says "there is a time for everything".
Now that I am in fourth year I learned a lot from him especially judging a person with his physical appearance instead, judge him with his good and precious heart.
He has a good and precious heart. Teachers are very important. If they are not here no one is successful nowadays. There's no Engineer, Doctors, Nurses and many more. He has all the good traits of a teacher, a father and I am proudly to say that he is MY TEACHER, MY HERO.

MY HERO FOR LIFE

Heroes are the one helping us and saving us. A hero is a brave man or woman that willing to help us when we need them, with no exceptions. They are helping us and not waiting any change in return. All we just know i heroes are superman, batman and etc. But our parents, friends, aunts and other relatives are also what we called heroes.
Of course my hero is my "parents", why? Because they are sacrificing for us so that we can study in a formal way to learn more so that we will have a good future. If they are not here probably we will never be here. They are very brave enough to save us from our enemies and those who are insulting us. They protect us in very disasters that may come. They also help us when ever we need them. They work hard 24/7 so that we can eat 3 times a day. They teach us good manners and teach us the responsibilities of our own. They always show me how they love and care for me. They are the hero i want to keep for life because they have all the abilities of a good parent and a Hero.
In love, care, helping, and sacrificing for us is the best and way hero in the world, our parents. They are so brave to save and protect us. I can say that I love my HERO.

WE NEED WORK THAT WE CAN APPLY WHAT WE LEARN IN SCHOOL

Kind, understanding, intelligent ruler of the Philippines, Mr. Noynoy Aquino. First of all I would like to give you my sincerest gratitude and hoping that you are in a good condition.
I know that everyone,especially me will grab this opportunity to write you a letter. Maybe we wanted to ask if how's your life or how we wanted a work and a progress life. If there's no work that we can apply, what will just happen to us? We need a work that we can apply our professions. We both know sir that one of the biggest problem in our country is the money.We all need money to survived in this world. Now a days many Filipinos have been sent home from other country because of crisis and now we need a work that can save our life. We need a work that can apply our knowledge.
I am very privilege to wrote you a letter sir. I hope that this will help you think of ways that can help us apply work easily. Have a great day! and always smile, that you very much sir.

SONA

State of the Nation Address or the SONA. SONA is always delivered at the last Monday of the month of July. But not every year. It is delivered by a leader for his/her country.
As we all know our President of the Republic of the Philippines, Mr. Benigno Noynoy Aquino III delivered his State of the Nation Address last Jult 25, 2011. It is the first SONA he delivered. SONA is one of the best way to see all the leaderest from different provinces of the Philippines, talking and reacting each and every SONA he delivered. Also to study every single part of the SONA. A way to know all the works he had done in a whole year. In the SONA of our president Aquino, it was very inspiring and and you can see that is not scripted but the SONA he delivered was not enough to prove himself to the people of the Philippines. One of the objective of his SONA is to lessen the Pork Barrel. But the one thing the farmers and employees wanted to hear wasn't heard.
We can stop those people who are making bad things but we can never stop those people who are hungry. Just a student of a public school we are hoping for something improvements and also a better life of those who are daughters/sons of farmers, like me. In every SONA President delivered they most think not only for themselves is city or place they live, they must also think for their surroundings, and the people who are working.

ISULONG ANG BREASTFEEDING TAMA, SAPAT AT EKSLUSIBO

When love exists a woman and a man fall in love with each other, and that love became a baby. Inside the tummy of the mother the baby needs nutrients, especially that he is now born. Breastfeeding can provide the young infants nutrients they used for growth and a strong being.It is also the best way of feeding a baby.
Breastfeeding a baby is very important, because he can't eat yet and he need nutrients. He need it to survived and to be strong. Some says just feed them sterilized milk but it is better if the baby is fed by the milk of the mother, why? it because it can help the relationship of the mother and the baby. Breast milk is also delicious and it has all the nutrients that the baby need. to grow faster and a active well being. It is also the one of the recommendation of the doctor so that the baby can avoid much diseases.
So let us promote breastfeeding, to be healthy and strong let all the mommies breastfeed their baby. Encourage all the mommies that you know. What are you waiting for lets go! lets go! lets go!
